The Space
Casa di Dora is a unique property that offers an experience that goes beyond a simple stay. Located on the eighth floor—the tallest building in the area—it offers an extraordinary panoramic view of the entire Versilia region, where the eye roams freely between the sea and the mountains.
It is important to note that the apartment does not have air conditioning or a TV (by the owners’ ethical choice); therefore, please keep this in mind if you wish to book it. The apartment is well-ventilated due to its oceanfront location and high floor; on warm summer evenings, with the windows open, there is usually a natural breeze.

From the moment you step inside, the natural light and spaciousness create a sense of freedom and lightness. In the morning, the house is bathed in light that gently rises from the Apuan Alps, while in the evening it offers spectacular sunsets over the sea, with the sun reflecting off the water to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The rooms are designed to offer harmony and privacy:

The property can accommodate up to 5 people: families and small groups of friends (standard occupancy 4 guests with 2 double beds + an extra bed available on request). Groups of young people under the age of 24 are not permitted.

Just a short walk from the apartment lies the famous Passeggiata di Viareggio, the heart of city life: an elegant seafront promenade lined with beach clubs, boutiques, historic cafés and restaurants with sea views. Here you can stroll at sunset, go shopping or simply enjoy the lively and sophisticated atmosphere of the coast.

The nearby Viareggio Pier is one of the city’s most picturesque spots: perfect for a stroll by the sea, to breathe in the sea breeze or admire spectacular views, especially in the evening. A truly local experience is waiting for the fishermen to arrive early in the morning, watching the catch being laid out on the stalls where you can also buy it to cook for dinner.
For nature lovers, the Pineta di Ponente offers extensive green spaces ideal for walks, jogging or relaxing in the shade of the pine trees, just a few minutes from the house.
